Default mbc ok to put in car?

I'm wondering is it OK to put my mbc inside the car? I'm running a rearmount and wanna start turning it up but I don't wanna have to pull over numerous times while street tuning to adjust it more.I'm guessing the negative effects really will only be boost spikes?or will it cause creep as well?

Just keep in mind that the longer your reference line for the wastegate is, the less response it has.
