I purchased the Camaro SS Brembo's and rotors. Currently I am running a staggered setup. So I will need to purchase 18" wheels for up front, wondering if anyone else has done this, and what size spacer you needed to clear the calipers?

You can run 17's up front with CTS-V calipers not sure about SS calipers, with the CTS-V's you will have to grind down the caliper's to clear inside the rim and obtain enough room with a spacer to clear the spokes of your rim, see thread F-Body CTS-V Calipers 14" Rotors and 17" Wheels

I did see that, but I'm not interested in grinding the caliper to fit within the wheel.

they will not clear without grinding as far as i know. I personally have done the grinding so they would fit and you cant see where you ground the caliper with the wheel's mounted

yep that was a good write up/ although i cant find the damn calipers for sale. Oh well. To the O/P, i thought that there was a thread on this already (do care that you started a new one) If I can find some info i will repost.

herer ya go-page 3 is a good starting point ( http://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes/1309236-2010-camaro-ss-brembos-4th-gen-3.html ) he used a 15mm spacer i believe, just depends on your wheels! hope that helps

I was hoping to hear from someone that has successfully ran the CTSV or Camaro SS Brembo behind a 18x9.5" C5 Z06 wheel. Spacer and backspacing specifically.

I guess I missed it, unless you are referring post with the C6 Z06 wheels which isn't going to help me.

Interesting, I wonder how those wheels compare to the Z06's?

not sure. but i can say i had pleanty of room to spare with the 15mm spacer. i could have probably gotten away w/ 10mm. not sure if that helps. i'm sure the 15mm spacer is all u need to be honest.

ctsv 4 piston calipers are exactly the same as 2010 ss calipers.
just a heads up.
