Hey guys I was wondering if my stock amp is still connected after I installed my new head unit? I added a boss hu and a PAC RCA converter to the new sail panel speakers for 2 12s. The sail speakers did not work at first (only bass?) and I ran speaker wire from those to the rear to get them playing. My concern about the amp is because of the distortion I get when I turn the volume past 35 (hu max is 39) just wondering if I bypassed the amp by not connecting the small clip in the back of the headunit because there was no spot for it. (no steering controls b/c no converter, power intena so it wasn't hooked up, and I disconnected the 12 disc changer) Suggestions would help! Thanks
