98 5.7 vortec wiring I'm installing a 98 5.7 vortec into a 69 chevy truck. I have the factory wiring harness and ECM. I know I have to have the ECM reprogrammed but I'm looking to remove unused wires off the factory harness. It will not have smog equip on it. Does anyone have this info or can point me in the direction to get it ?Thank you.

350 Vortec Wiring Your best bet would be to get a set of the factory (Helm) manuals. They will have the most comprehensive wiring (and diagnostic) information available.
Since the GM bankruptcy, a lot of this sort of stuff can be found pretty cheap if you look around. I've seen entire sets go for less than $75 on eBay.
