I just bought a 2000 5.3L Z71 and the EGR is leaking at the intake. It appears to have been a long term problem. Well the EGR plate that bolts to the intake appears to only have one bolt hole and it bolts to the top. Nothing is on the bottom. Is that right?
I'd like to fix it as cheap as possible. Should I just get something to block it off? If so, does anyone happen to know what size block off plug I can use? Maybe a part number?
