Getting the system together and in :). I'm going to use an old Fosgate 800a2 amp to run the subs. Either going to use 3 MTX 6000 10's in a sealed box or a Kicker L7 12 in a sealed box. I already have the speakers just would have to build a box for the L7. Opinions on which to go with please. They will be on the rear shelf behind the back seat.

I would go with the 3 mtx 10's over the L7 12, just make sure you wire them so that you don't end up below the stable ohm load of the amp.

Man no love for the L7? lol The MTX's are 12 ohm subs wired in parallel so amp sees 4 ohms. The L7 is 2 ohm DVC.

Well I just did some research and your amp is only stable to 4 ohms when bridged (2 ohm stereo, which you have no way to do with your available woofers) so if indeed you have the 12 ohm single voice coil version of the MTX then running in parallel puts you at the 4 ohms which is perfect for your amp.

I really feel the L7's are overrated, I've only been impressed by one that I saw and here it is, But I think it was the 18 version.

The L7 will be loud but sound quality will suck, i'd go with the 3 MTX to get the best mix of output and sound quality.

Out of your choices use the mtx, or buy a diamond audio sub ;)
