Vehicle Classifieds - 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6 **LOWERED PRICE**

Putting my black 02 T/A WS6 for sale. Car has 136k on it. Interior is in good/decent shape...carpet has a tear or two. Driver seat has a rip along the side. Dash is fine and no cracks in any panels. Exterior is decent. Both quarters have surface rust along the wheel well. Not to hard to fix. Few minor flaws here and there. I just bought the car but changed my mind and interested in another car. Just looking do get back what I paid. Has fresh oil, k&n oil filter, brand new battery, and just put in a GM high volume oil pump. So here's the deal, starts with good oil pressure(40psi) but drops as it warms up. If you shut it off and restart it, again it will start with good pressure then drop. From all of the threads I've gone through, I'm almost positive the pick up tube o-ring is pinched. Aside from that, runs and drives fine, shifts through all gears, clutch is good. Starts and runs good, will drive a few miles before the pressure starts to drop. Overall, ill give the car a 6-6.5 out of 10. Looking for 5500 obo. New o ring is 5 bucks. Thanks for looking. Whats with the paint at the front of the rear fender wells? Was it rear ended and then straightened and no paint done?

No? There were a few shallow dents and someone didn't prep it right and just slapped bondo on and it fell off.

any oil leaks anywhere because I don't think the problem is a pinched o ring....could be valve seats...but that would show up through the exhaust...is it excessive oil pressure loss because that is what it seems like you are saying...hmm...something seems off

does it consume a lot of oil(do you have to constantly check and refill?), what grade oil are you using?

No oils leaks and doesn't consume oil. 10-30.

I'm interested and will buy it as soon as my gto sells. Hopefully you'll still have this!

how many pounds of oil pressure does it hold at 3k when its warm?

Is there any chance you can get the oil pressure fixed before you sell? reason being is if I purchase I will need to drive back to Ohio so I'd hate to do that on low oil pressure :/

how low does the oil pressure get after it warms up?
at idle and at around 3k?

It fluctuates then goes to zero.
