Default Best head gasket for high boost application?

As the title says, whats everyone using? Ive used the Ls9 gaskets but havent had much luck with them but most wasnt due to the gasket but tuning. Still curious to what everyone is using. Thanks

Ls9 is going to be the general winner here. I just received my first set yesterday, will be going on the GTO shortly

I've used other GM MLS 3 layer gaskets for years up to about 1000hp and 20psi with decent results too.

I went ls9. plannin on 750-800rwhp. 1/2 inch head studs on top of it should be super safe as well as the addition of heads with a .750 deck.

How much power do you want to make? Boost is not really relevant. I like the MLS gaskets to 1000-1300hp, after that I like either copper with o-rings or the fire rings from Andreas with a graphite gasket.

previously made a little over 1000 with the ls9 gaskets but either due to the tune or the stock heads kept lifting them. Now going with a different set-up and wanted to know, plan on power being around 1300-1400.

when you say o-rings are you talking about the block or the gasket with the rubber o-ring built in? Is there a brand that youve had experience with that is better than others? Thank you

I have the GM 6.0 MLS gasket and pushing about 700whp at 17psi. Not problems thus far, but the next time I pull the heads I'll probably put on ls9 gaskets.

Find a new tuner, the ls9 gaskets should be fine for you.
