Default What's the difference in these 2 rod bolts?

ARP High-Performance Connecting Rod Bolts, Stock LS1 "Cracked" Rods

ARP Pro-Series Connecting Rod Bolts, Stock LS1 "Cracked" Rods

Other than $20 in the price....

go on ARPs web site and look them up. One is rated at something like 170,000 psi and the other is either 190,000 or 210,000 psi....don't remember the exact specs. Also keep in mind that even the "cheap" ARP bolt is stronger than and LS6 bolt and people beat the living SH*T out of LS6 bolts .

Well, their spec sheet lists the chrome moly bolts having a minimum typical tensile strength of 180,000 psi and the ARP2000 alloy as having a minimum typical tensile strength of 215,000 psi. If I didn't trust numbers they are advertising for bolt strength - there's no way I'd buy any product from them ever. Given the good reputation of ARP fasteners - I'd trust them.
