ok so im new to the corvette game, i have a 99 frc. the clutch went out and im going to replace it with a mcleod rxt. wondering if anyone on here has any info on them. also since im in there what else do i need to change. lets say the cars stock as far as drivetrain. i had a cartek in my camaro, and a friend had a RXT in his trans am and it drove like a dream. im more worried about TO bearing, slave cylinder, master cylinder, etc.

remote bleeder, new GM slave cylinder, new pilot bearing. Also check the torque tube couplers. You will have to take the tube appart to see the rubber couplers tho.

dont skip the torque tube inspection. You can cost yourself big there if you have a bad coupler. If you have the cash to spend, buy the 12mm torque tube off a newer vette. direct bolt in for a stronger part, no mods needed to do it.
Other things to consider if you have the bank, in addition to what has been said. If you want to put a transmission brace on the car, now will be the time to do it, as well as if you want to put a new transmission/rear diff mount in.
Go a head an spring for a tunnel plate too. Might as well since the stocker is paper thin and does nothing for heat blocking nor strength. I am running a 3/8th think plate and love it.

Wont hurt to do everything and make it all fresh with new and upgraded clutch hydraulics.
