Alright, what I have here is a 427 short block that was built and owned by Brian Tooley. I am the third owner, I’ll say that straight up. The second owner was going to put the motor in his car but never did and it looks like I am in the same boat. I am getting married at the end of the summer and also going to school, so I am trying to get my finances in order. My loss is your gain. You can PM Brian Tooley with any questions because I know I did when I bought the motor. Here is a quote from one of his PM’s:

It's a great engine, enough so that I'm considering buying it back myself. There was A TON of attention to detail put into that engine. It has main studs, head studs, Cloyes Hex A Just chain, custom Comp cam, ported LS6 oil pump, Eagle crank and rods, Wiseco pistons, ATI dampner. I paid $1000 just for the machine work on the block. He's selling it cheap for what it is and what he has in it.
I didn't have a trailer so I drove to the race track. I went three times, twice to a track I think they called Hwy 42 and once to Norwalk (Summit Motorsports Raceway)
The engine made 640 hp 580 tq with a crappy Weiand intake, a Fast 92/102 will be 20 hp better than that. It has a super flat torque curve. You can't go wrong for what he's selling it for, that's for sure. End quote

The motor has not ran since Brian Tooley owned it. It still turns over freely when spun over by hand.
Now for the meat and potatos:

427 short block based off a lq4/lq6 6.0 liter (not sure but I can check the block later)
Eagle 4.100" stroke Forged 4340 Crank shaft
Eagle 6.125" long Forged 4340 rods
Wiseco 4.070" custom Forged pistons with GFX 1.2mm/1.2mm/3.0mm rings
ARP Main studs
ARP Head studs
Clevite "H" race main bearings
Speed Pro Duroshield coated rod bearings
Cloyes Hex-A-Just Timing Chain
Custom Comp Cam 248/254 .621"/.612" 113+3
Ported LS6 oil pump
LS6 Valley cover
I might leave the ATI balancer on there if the motor is sold quick enough or put on a March pulley that I have laying around *hint hint*
(The ATI balancer is setup for a C5 front accessory so you will need to change that to a F-body which is like a $130 from ATI for the part itself)
AutoKraft Oil Pan (brand new)
Would like $4200 out of it, buyer pays +3% paypal fee. Would prefer not to ship, but can if it comes down to it but the buyer will pay shipping. I’ll also travel up to 200 miles or so to make it easier on whoever buys the motor.

The 640hp/580tq was on an engine dyno with untouched TFS 235 heads and a Weiand intake.

For our uses, we pretty much stick to aluminum blocks.

Someone will realize the great pricing offered & will ****** it up. For the options offered in the sale, is a great price. Good-luck w/ the sale.

What kind of pistons (dome, dish, flat top)is in it? Is it gapped for nitrous and or boost? I didn't think you could take a 6.0l block out .070.

They are flat tops with valve reliefs. Not sure what size valve reliefs, but Brian Tooley said it would be around 11.5:1 compression with a 70cc head such as a TFS 235 head. I'm not sure what it was gapped too, the paperwork I got from Brian Tooley doesn't say.The pistons themselves were custom made for this application. You can take .070 out as long you have the block sonic checked, which this block was and I have the paperwork for that.

I know there is someone out there that wants this motor I've gotten a few offers but nothing solid yet. I am willing to drive more than the 200 miles because the shipping on this thing is pretty ridiculous. Pay my gas money to and back home, and we'll be good

Call FedEx & ask to speak w/ a freight specialist directly. Most of the time, they will give you a great shipping price if you can put it on a skid & take it to a local FedEx hub & the receiver is a business or is willing to pick up @ their local FedEx hub. Must speak w/ a freight specific agent. You will not get any discount speaking to the general shipping people.

Free bump and GLWS. If I win the lottery or something, I'll let you know.
