Default Swaybar Problems

don't know how big of a deal this is, but last night. Traveling on a back road. Some smuck decided to dump a bucket of cinderblock pieces on the road. Well I hit a few pieces doing about 70 mph. A couple miles down road I hear some metal hitting the ground a scattering.

This morning go the car up on a lift. The rod that connects the swaybar on the drivers side is just hanging there. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? The passenger side is fine, but I have nothing connecting the drivers side swaybar right now.

How much is this part to replace?

Thanks

What kind of gains are there from not running the front swaybar? I believe I read somewhere that it helps with your launch at the track. But whatelse does it help or hurt?

Thanks
