There is guy on here name Clyde. His screen name is Haighter. He could probably help you out. He did my clutch install on my GTO at Miramar.

I would help out if I was down there. I won't be in the san diego area for at least 2 weeks.

I'm by miramar... I have never opened up a LSx motor... sbc were easy... not sensors etc.... but I don't like my car being put on a lift without me putting it on... my fender tabs are still crooked!!! GRRRR that was from a tires plus in pennsauken nj by camden tech, they put my agk kyb's on the weekend i got my car in 2003 and had the f*cking fender sticking out so bad with the door closed u could've still fit your whole hand behind the fender

I haven't really decided what heads to use... I'm thinking more with PRC 2.5 LS6s. As for the cam... I'm not sure exactly cause i'm trying to get about 440whp/410wtq.. Not concerned with emissions cause got FL tags on both my cars...
In the vid i figured he had a small cam with 372whp/380wtq dyno #s

I always recommend that you take your car to a top notch shop like CMS. They are one of the best shops in the west coast.
If you are wanting to do it yourself and want a hand or pointers as you are doing it then give me a PM

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad I was able to help you out.
