Default mechanical setup on 5.3

hey guys i'm researching a bracket motor build for my dads drag car, it's a 67' camaro 1800LB. 100% drag car with a 406, J.W. powerglide 8" PTC 4000 stall, narrowed 12 bolt with 5:38's. the motor is damaged and we want to build a cheap more doscile motor so that i can start raceing the car, i have a low mile LM7 i would like to use, the 406 has a single blade enderlie mechanical FI setup on it and i would like to run it on the 5.3 with a victor jr., cam swap, and a freshened up bottom end, and i was thinking of running E-85 instead of alcohol as an inexpensive alternative, i belive it will work and be a rock solid 400-450 HP. performer. Just wanted to see what y'all think about it/see any major problems or issues. My dad is a hardcore old school guy, and i'm trying to get him into ls's, if this build works out i would love to see the car with a 800-900 horse turbo 6.0 To date the car has run a gear limited 9.30 at the 1/4 and 5.20 on the 1/8
