I have an LY6 that will be seeing street/strip duty that will be receiving a new cam and valve train before being put into use.
Right now I need to get my hands on a nice tool that will assist in compressing/removing the valve springs but I don't know these engines well enough to know which tool is worth considering and which tools are a big waste of money...
So grab you preferred tool for this job and post up a picture or even better a web link to where I can purchase it. My search was futile.
Thanks for the assistance.

There are a few manufactures who offer the tool your looking for. Try checking Jegs or Summit they both should carry it. Comp Cams, Proform, and LSM all make the tool.

This one works good. Just used it on my sons Firehawk.

Thanks guys. For the record the last one I had was supposedly a Snap-on tool and maybe it was but I was expecting a bit more from a tool from Snap-on so maybe it was some Chinese business man ripping off their name cause it was sort of a poor design in my opinion. That's why I sold it off but now that I think about it maybe I wasn't using it the correct way either.
