General LSX Automobile Discussion - LS vs LM

I found an LM7 motor from a 2006 Chevy truck. Would this be a good candidate for a 51 AD Chevy truck? What is the technical difference between an LS and LM motor?

Nothing other than bore, accessory drive, oil pan, and intake manifold...and compression ratio.
