Hi guys, I have a 2001 TA WS6 and I just noticed that the foglight switch isn't illuminated anymore when you switch the foglights on. Also the foglights do not light up anymore. I checked the foglight fuse and didn't see anything there. I didn't notice any other lights out, tailligts still work, so i'm stumped? Maybe a ground problem to the switch? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

All i know is the face panel takes a less than a second to pop off so if it were me i would unplug them, turn the key and hook a volt meter up to the asr and try and get a reading (as it is working i assume) then the fog and see if there is any power going to it. Dunno if it will give you the answer or not but its something at least

where in the dash would I look to find the relay? How do you remove the dash in a trans am? Thanks!
Also do each of the foglights have a ground? Thanks!

Relay is under the hood.

Am having this problem. Where exactly is the relay under the hood? Is it labeled, is it a fuse, in the fuse box? New to this electrical thing so any additional help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Relay is under the hood.

Did a search on the auto parts stores and found what the relay looks like. It is located under the hood in a fuse box type black box and is labeled for the fog lights. Will replace it and see if that is the problem.

Before you go buying a new relay, just swap a known good relay from like the fans or something and see if that works for you.

Yeah, thanks and good advice. Checked and these go for anywhere from $16 to $20 at most parts store.

Before buying and replacing anything, I did like one poster suggested and pulled the bezel from around the radio, ASR, Fog Light switch, etc. I unplugged and then replugged the connection off the Fog Lights switch and what do you know, everything is working now. So, it appears to be a connection. Will get back into this on Saturday and see if I can find a loose wire or connection somewhere but for now all is fine.
