I talked to the attorney. Everything is shady IMO. And the guy tries to dick around with you. I'd stay away from it.

if i was in FL i would defently check it out. who cares if he is shady as long as you do it in person and have a title. at most a couple of radiator supports maybe a little pulling and some front end parts. for $3000 thats a steal.

Owner of the car is in Ohio. Attorney is in North Carolina. But they don't want the car anymore? Doesn't add up. You ask about the title. Attorney says you will have to get a salvage title. Then talks about the car had or still has a loan on it. Sounds sketchy to me. Also look at the back seats. They look like they've been taken out. I almost think the car was wrecked and the police went through it. I just can't see anyone leaving that car behind for nothing.

the whole deal sounds shady as hell
and BTW, wouldn't you expect an attorney of all people to have better typing and grammar skills than this?

This. I'm not even officially a lawyer yet and there's no way I'd say I'm an attorney and claim that ad was my own doing.

No. I am a year away from being an attorney and if you have ever worked for them, you know that one half have impeccable grammar skills and the other half either don't care or just can't use proper grammar.

He never would give me the address or what yard. He said they were paying fees daily for it sitting there which if that was the case you would think it would have been moved.

But it has a flat tire!!!! Don't you know cars are IMPOSSIBLE to move when they have a flat tire!!! ;)

And yea. The big red flag was the kid who owns the car is in Ohio and the attorney is in North Carolina. Now if the attorney was here then I could see this all being reasonable. But how in the world does an attorney in North Carolina get his hands in the middle of this? O and don't try to talk the price down. Someone already offered the full asking price he will say. I laughed and said then why is the car not sold?

Yea but how hard is it to get a tire fixed? And if the guys at the yard cranked it up and went through the gears i am pretty sure they would have been glad to take the $50 he is offering and go get a tire for it.

did anybody else notice that in the first line he says he's an attorney, then later on says "i'm not sure about the salvage laws in fl" or some shit, and also he begins by saying it's in an impound lot, but at the end it's at an insurance lot. I don't feel sorry for the person that gets burned trying to buy this, there are way too many red flags that should jump out to anyone with a workable IQ.

I am a lawyer and this is absolutely true! This is also a scam.
