Just like the title says guys i need a intank fuel pump that's bigger then the 255 that walbro offers.
Is there any available for 93-97 camaros?
i know of the aeromotive 340 but cant seem to find any info id they will work in camaro's. I emailed racetronix and they said they don't offer that one in a kit because there's reliability problems with them

a 340 stealth will fit directly in a 98 or down car and you can modify the fuel bucket on a 99 up to make them fit in them as well as far as reliability i cant speak for them because i have never used one

Walbro has a 400 pump that I've used in my imports,
I'm running a Deatschwerks DW301.. Flows 320 lph, dead quiet, e-85 friendly & has a 3year warranty.

Is the walbro 400 the same dimensions as the 255?
Can i use the racetronix kit with it just like the 255?
will it be a direct drop in like the 255?
Sorry for all the questions just trying to weigh my options before i have to dump 600.00+ for a double pumper setup.

No, no and no.
lol tell us how you really feel lol
cars are getting faster and more powerful, fuel tech needs to catchup or get left behind. just look at the new gen5 LT1 with its wierd 1000+ psi fuel system (which is just rediculous)
is there any development around that is making dual pumps obsoleat in our beloved f-bodys? i saw those twin screw and a few other things but they dont fit in the stock tank.

DW300. It's tiny, outflows the Walbro, quieter (unless you like the obnoxious whine), and has a 3 year warranty. IMO, it's a lot better quality than a Walbro.

Do you have the ability to piece together a kit now?
How will this work with a msd boost a pump?

Nice looking pump Racetronix. I have dual Walbro 255s in a 1982 Monte Carlo. Will these fit in the place of the Walbros without modification and how much more power will they support over the 255s?

Fit yes. You must provide them with upgraded wiring and flow capability.

Dude, I have tried to beat this info out of them with emails. Racetronix has some great products, but you will never reach them on the phone and their email responses and forum posts usually look like something that was composed on a mobile phone during a commercial break. Here is what I have learned:
Racetronix has stated this kit will be delayed until "this summer".
The kit will include a wiring harness that supports more than the 14 amps currently supported in our cars, most likely this 30 amp version: http://www.racetronix.biz/customkititems.asp?kc=FPWK-017W&eq=
Will include a pump, as shown above:
http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.asp?ic=RXP340M&eq=&Tp=
Will require an external regulator and a return line. I think the lines are the pieces they haven't figured out yet. There are several choices of regulators readily available. If I had to guess, feed line will be -8 AN and return line will be -6 AN.
No clue on pricing but other sponsors kits run about $1000 +/- $500 depending how you option it. I think a lot of people would like to hear more about this kit but they have been kind of tight-lipped about it.
I hope this helps..The parts list I got back from Racetronics in regards to running two 340 type pumps in a 1998 were;

I only see a universal kit for it. One of the things I like about the Racetronix pump is a new harness and plug and play wiring with the Walbro 255.
Deatschwerks what do you guys have? I don't see anything other than a universal kit on your site.

As for reliability I've Had one for 2 years and it is giving me problems now, probably less than 2k miles on it. I have a GS34X walbro pump that runs all the time and a hobbs switch controlled stealth pump. The secondary stealth pump had the drainback valve go bad causing a loss in fuel psi from the primary pump. I may try dual DW pumps now.

So initially the pump was hold pressure and now it wont stay primed. Have you contacted aeromotive to see if they"ll warranty it?

No, it's been over 2 years. I've actually had the worst luck with fuel pumps. Two new WB 340s, one would not make 30#'s. sent it back to summit and bought the stealth pump locally. I just got 2 of the racetronics pumps, should be here tomorrow or thursday to try out.

Nothing to do with luck. If your system or environment has a problem then you will continue to burn out pumps. Perhaps it is time to take a closer look at your problem?

Racetronic, I have Lonnie's hotwire kit, Magnaflo by-pass regulator and -8 feed/-6 return fuel lines. Therefore, will these pumps be a drop-in in place of the WB's?

They will. I put in a new Racetronix 340 in place of one of my Walbro's. Fit perfect.
