I am looking at a 2002 Trans Am ws6. Black in color, black interior. Also has a 6-speed manual trans, and tires are 50%. He wants $13,800, i can possibly get him to $13,500. Should i buy it?! Car is flawless except 3 tiny hail dents on the rear quarter, (hardly noticable.) Completely stock!! i can PM or text pictures if somebody want to see for a better opinion!? Really appreciate anybody's and everybody's opinions.

Unless it's super low mileage then that's too much.

I have seen quite a few, and driven a couple. It is seriously clean except the hail damage. Books at "good" private value kbb at 14,100 so idk., all i know is the market in real life with the real T/A lovers is completely different!!

If one or two owners, then $13,500 is certainly a fair price if you have described the car accurately. Keep in mind you will need $600 - $800 in tires before too long, so use that in your negotiations. Also insist on maintenance records. All the fluids should have been changed in a 10 year old 50,000+ miles car (brake fluid, power steering fluid, Dexcool, etc...). If not then you have to ask why, which also is a negotiating point if not done. Stock, lower mileage, well maintained, 6 speed WS6 models are getting tougher to locate in decent 'non-abused' condition. Good luck!

I haven't asked for a service record, although I have thoroughly read a car fax and it has been through a few dealer ships over its span in 2006 and 2010 so maintenance shouldn't be a problem. Surprisingly there have been 3 owners. (Looking to be the 4th!! :D ) he is just do dead set on his current price, I don't know why argument I can possibly think of to budge him.... :/

^^agree and do as said. Show up with cash and flash what you want to give him (Sounds nice, and its a 2002 which happens to be the exact car i would want). Good Luck

I would NOT let $300 stand in the way if he is adamant on price and you are satisfied with everything I mentioned earlier. 3 owners is a bit disconcerting to me for a 10 year old car because why didn't any of the three owners like the car longer than an average of just 3 years or so each? Make sure there are no issues that are hidden. Ask the present owner lots of questions. If he hesitates or 'doesn't know' think twice about it. Everything should be an open book for this kind of money.

Trust me when i say that i will give it a VERY THOROUGH test drive, probably take it to an empty parking lot and check all the fluids while im away just to see if its been maintained. BUt i just don't know how much, if anything serious could get around being reported in the CarFax.. it was very detailed.

Well i'm trying to make it up to look at the car this weekend, i really don't know what to do. I love the car so i'm almost about ready to say "F" it and just buy it... Impulse is stupid yes i know, but anybody who has driven these cars would understand, especially in the condition!!!

Also found there have been, (I think) 6 different title changes but tht is because a few dealerships had bought the car from one another. What affect does that have on anything

Don't decide on the price until you see the car. The condition of the car is much more important than a few hundred dollars.
