Question For those w/Firebirds and the WINGS WEST front spoiler...

For those that have installed the front Wings West spoiler (as shown on Trans Dad’s old car below) to their firebird, other than the few screws it came with and the tape did you do anything else to install it securely on your car?

no, I didn't, but I'm having mine molded to the front so it has a more clean look to it.

Did you have any issues with it before getting it molded? Mines being painted now...

no, not really, but there was a small gap that could be seen at the front where it went over the front bumper, cause it didn't sit real snug

Mine has been on the car since 2000. And still haven't had to do anything to them. My car is garaged though and only taken out during the summer when it's not raining.

Can I get you to post some more close up pics of the front end or a link to your pics?

Thanks.

Thanks, just picked up mine from the paint shop today, hope to install this weekend. Hey we drive our cars so thats what happens in the real world. I went to powertour two years ago, driving down the road soemthing flew up and hit my rh rr quarter and put a gouge down to the metal 1/8" long, its still there untouched, its got some wax in it but I consider that my battle scar from using my car, it will be fixxed one day when the whole car gets repainted, but until then using and enjoying it for now.

Here's a pic of a friend's car we did a wings west front lip and side skirts. The front lip was wrapped pretty tight around the bumper. Ernest

Hi, do the wings west side skirts fit on top of the factory ones or do the factory ones have to come off first before fitting the wings west ones, thanks for any help.

The factory side skirts have to be removed. The Wings West will need some tweaking with the fender and rocker panel.
