Default Build ideas for 450-500hp with single turbo?

2002 camaro ss 37xxx miles 4L60E

$6,000 or so budget

only mods are corsa cat back (with muffler delete soon) and a handheld tune (jsut used it to change shift time and diagnostics)

With a low miles engine, i wasnt looking to swap out any cam, heads, or pistons, but looking for ideas for a turbo build that will get me around 450 hp

Street application, never at the strip. Would an sts turbo kit alone be able to get me around those numbers SAFELY? I would rather a front mount, and i dont care about losing a/c. Can anyone shoot me some opinions on a build or ideas?

again i would more enjoy a front mount turbo,m i think one of the wells on the camaro front fascia with a filter would be a cool mounting spot, where are your front mounts mounted?

What about that Huron kit? Thats a really front mount kit. And all the piping is pretty much done.....I'd do one but I live in CA so I'm trying to hunt down a pre-76 camaro....whoa! what folks want for 70-73 junk is unbelieveable.

I just replied to your post in my thread and sent you a PM on the cost. I think you could easily do this for well under $6,000 if you spend time planning and searching for parts If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM

Don't be scared of STS. Mine makes around 550hp on 6lb boost at the motor and it spools fast enough to fry the tires from a dig or a roll, wouldn't want boost any quicker. Mpg stayed same before and after too.
