Sounds like a lot of good things (and good $$$) have been put into the car but there is no avoiding the high mileage. While these cars can reach 200,000 miles if maintained well, the end of the line is nearer than you think. With the paint needed, along with any other issues which will arise from age and miles, I would think $5,000 would be top dollar. She can certainly ask $6,000 and then negotiate. You have to figure a few grand for the new owner for cheap paint and repairs during the first year alone. No one would want to be in it for more than $7,000 after this work. As it is, that would be scary high. The car may be reliable for 2 or 3 more years but it also could be a parts car and worth next to nothing. Vegas wouldn't take the odds. GLWS!!

** Also look up www.kbb.com in her zip code and see what they price it at. Don't forget to punch in the mileage. It is a helpful pricing tool for a car like hers and others will be looking at that too for guidance.
