Default some thoughts on cam selection

here's the deal:
i own a 98 z28 1LE 6M. 3200 lbs 1/4 tank w/o driver.
current mods are free, lid, and bellows. 12.80's on nittos @ 109 600ft elevation.
i plan on an LS6 intake and cut the cats with off road y pipe off manifolds with electric cut out. i want to keep the manifolds and catback for sleeper looks when just cruising it. emmissions not a concern.
is it possible to get atleast low 12's on only a small cam swap and not have to tune it or will i have to go with some ported head also. maybe patriot stage 2's? i plan on some track and a little AutoX too
even though this is my weekend vehicle,(i drive OTR during the week) i want to be able to drive it with a good amount of reliabilty. sorry if this may be a redundant type of post to some-but i'm gone 5 days a week and don't get on here too much.
