Default 12498543 Graphite Gasket vs 12498544 Metal Gasket

I was wondering if I can use my MLS gaskets that I put on for a dyno run. I removed the heads to degree the cam and want to use the same gaskets. they have at least 500 miles. I have a pair of graphite gaskets on stand by, but I want to use the MLS ones if I can. what do you guys think?

within a few hundred miles, and assuming they are still good, yes they can be reused.
But at 29.99 the pair, I'd just buy a new set...

Last thing you want is coolant in your oil

Just buy a new set, like mentioned above. Do the job once and save yourself from possible headaches in the future. There are people that reuse them, but I would never do that with my engine.

I've pulled my heads and used the same gasket - Cometic MLS. No problems @ 11 pounds of boost.
What gaskets are you using ? Brand ?

I read the same thing that it can hold up better. I'm better off just getting a new pair of MLS and keeping the graph's on standby. Descion is made?
