What socketless pushlock hose is safe for fuel injection?
I assembled my sonoma with the 6.0 using aeroquip FC332-06 on the high pressure fuel side of the system.
I'm assuming that because I purchased and installed the hose in 06 it was not designed for extended use with todays ethanol laden crap pump gas. I started developing a fuel odor in the garage but nos visible leak. But I have the line wrapped in fire sleaving.
What can I order to replace the existing line with that will not develop the above problem and is safe for fuel injection. I'm trying to get this fixed before power tour gets here. When digging through catalogs there are some hoses that sound perfect but then state not for fuel injection WTF
I'd like to be able to get it from jegs or summit.

Teflon lined hose is what many use. NOT CHEAP, tho. Requires new fittings.

Unfortunately this is a common problem with rubber based hoses. The fuel aromatics can be absorbed into the line causing the smell issue you have.
I have stainless braided teflon lines if you want something that is odor proof & capable of fuel injection pressures. I have the proper carbon impregnated fuel safe variety of line.
Feel free to call if you want to discuss in more detail.

Ok so let me throw this out there are you saying the fuel line can absorb fuel odor through the lining but not physically be leaking. The aeroquip hose is rated for 250 lbs which is well below the operating pressure of my system.
What makes hose for fuel injection different than any other hose that is fuel safe and high pressure. Sorry for 20 million question.s
