Default Your thought on front splitters?

What is everyone's thought on front splitters on TA/Camaros? Personally, I have a TA and I love the front end, but there is just something about it that seems it isn't low enough. So I've really been considering putting on a splitter, but what are your thoughts on if you've gone this route how does it look in real life? Would you do it again if you had the chance on another car?

Also, what is the "beveled" option? Is this like Qcon's splitter where there is like a 3 foot 'indention' in the middle as opposed to the whole normal piece having a solid, smooth curve from side to side?

Thanks!

I hate the price of them but the ABS is not cheap. I got the look I want for the front of my camaro, now I need to work on the rear,

I like mine, I was hesitant about the price at first too but after receiving it.... the quality really makes up for it. I'm all about fabricating stuff myself but the amount of time it would take to cut ABS that thick just the right size and beveling was worth paying someone else to do it for me.

I think splitters can be a great addition or look trashy. It really depends on how you pull it off. I have one on my goat that only extends ~2 inches and looks great.

I notched mine myself and added a beveled rubber trim to the leading edge. The beveled 6LE splitter is a rounded leading edge instead of a squared edge.

I agree that they aren't cheap, but after it's on it actually finishes the front end. After it's been on and you take it off, the front ends look like they had a beard and you shaved it off, it looks out of place. I love mine!

Not the case at all. It literally only lowers the front of the car 1/4"...

ABS is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO not cheap right now. Not only is it MADE of petroleum but it takes petroleum to get it to the shop.

Used to you could get it cheaper because auto manufacturers sold off their slag, now they recycle it for their selves so all ABS is basically new (more expensive) ABS.

Material costs and transpo costs have literally doubled since I started making these 3 years ago...

Also, most people don't realize how large they actually are. You only see like 10% of it sticking out from the car. This thing would fill a queen size bed, lol, that's a lot of ABS...

I only like them if the car is low enough to make it look right. If you are running close to stock height, dont do it.

I honestly cant stand them. To me, they stick out like a sore thumb on our cars. My buddy had an M3 that they looked great on though.
