231/237 cam only numbers?
What is this cam putting down with LT headers? I ask this because usually people install LT headers with a cam, so really the question is cam + LT headers.
Also, what are you guys getting out of it with tuning?
I prefer numbers through a M6 car - stock gearing.
Thanks

The reason why I ask is because if this cam puts out close to 400 rwhp, what about the TR230? The 231/237 would be better for spray since it's a traditional split, but if the 230 makes close to teh same hp/tq, why not go with a lower lift cam?

I was split (pun intended) between the TR230 and the TSP231/237 also.
I chose the TSP231/237 'cause it seemed like it would be the better of the two for spray (if I ever went that route), and because it was making great numbers when paired with Stage II heads (not that the TR230 wouldn't also).
Although the TR230 has lower lift #'s, the lobe profile is very aggressive. The TSP231/237's lobes are less aggressive than those of Comp's XE grinds, so despite the high lift, the less aggressive lobes aren't so bad on the springs.
All in all, both cams are great, they just go about achieving similar results with different methods of doing so.

I did some research on the dyno archives and found that around 400 is what I should expect with stock heads.
I probably will go with the 231/237 - I'm just reassuring myself it's the cam I want. I'm a broke student and can't afford to go swapping cams so I want this one to work the first time.
