I have a '00 Camaro and am having problem with the EGR tube seal going into the intake manifold. The seal keeps getting sucked in(not all the way), under heavy acceleration, to the point where air leaks out and makes the car stumble. Has anybody had this problem? I installed it the correct way and everything, and replaced it with a new one, but it still does it. What do you guys suggest, other then eliminating it completely because I need it for smog inspection?

Bad seal can throw code(s) too. Was the tube removed for some reason? Most likely cause is the metal tube is not aligned properly, bent, etc. See you're in CA so EGR removal/block off probably not an option.

I replaced head gaskets, so it was completely apart. I put it on there, and so far I haven't had a problem with it anymore. I'm now facing a bad CAT:mad:.
