Default Milled 317's

How much can I mill 317 heads so I can run a cam with .525 lift without any problems?

duration of the cam is more important than lift as the piston is nowhere near
top dead center when the valve is at max lift. If you mill those heads more
than .035-.040" the intake manifold will not fit right. Head gasket thickness
plays a part as well.
