General LSX Automobile Discussion - Engine hoist plate thoughts, please.

I made this hoist plate today out of 1/4". It's bolted to six of the valley cover holes. I would guess the bare block weighs 80-90lbs and the trans probably weighs about the same. My question is, is it safe to bolt to these holes and move the engine and trans in and out a few times to mock up mounts, steering linkage, oil pan and firewall clearance, etc?

I built one similar but through all 10 holes. It has been great pulling long blocks out of Corvettes and Camaros.
