Good day everyone, I hope all are well. I am not quite yet, but soon will be a member of the LS Engine family. I just a recently finalized a trade of my 93 XJ Cherokee with a cracked head for a 91 RX7 FC with a bum transmission. I consider this a good trade for me for various reasons. But since the transmission needs replaced and the rotary engines are new to me I'm just going to swap for an LS engine of some sort and replace the entire drive-train while I'm at it. The body is in extremely good condition and the interior is suitable for a car of its age. I've hardly laid a hand of the Jeep so I'm excited to have a car I'll want to work on. As I've said I have most likely chosen to swap in the entire chevy powerplant, then rebuild the rotary engine if it's suitable and rebuild the tranny and swap back just to compare. I've never attempted a job of this caliber before, and I know I got a lot of $ and research in front of me. Hopefully I can do a write up and document it well so maybe I can help someone else with their future swaps.

Anybody want to point me in a direction that isn't the search bar? I'll be using it plenty. I mean perhaps literature, articles, or other websites that would assist me in this endeavor. I'm glad to be on the forum and I plan to learn a lot.
