Dyno Guesses & Bench Racing Forum - What would a 67 chevelle run?

Trying to figure out what a 67 chevelle with a street stroker 383 would run and trap in the quarter mile. Has a manual trans and street tires. Motor is rated at 420hp/450tq. Not sure on the gearing. My guess was 12.5@110. Whaddya guys think?

I would guess he wouldn't even make it into the 12s Id say 13.20 or so.

What trans? Stall gear and tire combo?

As far as I know its the stock 4 spd transmission. Its got aftermarket 17s with street tires.

I would say this is a good guess on the MPH. Et will be highly dependent on skill level. If he has no real experience. It will likely be 14 second city.

Stock automatics were 3 speeds back then and he specified manual in the OP.

W/ a street tire mid to high 13's on a sticky drag radial mid to low 12's !!!
