Cadillac CTS-V - Fuel Filter - Recommendations?

Hey--

Just installed a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump and put the car back together. Although I took care not to let anything significant fall into the gas tank, I'm sure that small particles did. Therefore, I probably need to replace the filter shortly.

Two questions: first, should I change the filter immediately, or give it a few days? Second, what filter do you guys recommend?

I'd go ahead and change it. It's pretty simple and inexpensive. Just get a good filter, I run Wix. Or if you wanted to, buy 1 cheap one and 1 good one, put the cheap one on for a week to catch all the trash and then put on the good one for a few months.
