I know I only have 11" wide wheels and the T/A fenders are a bit different than the Camaro's, but my fenders sill barely cut into my sidewalls (not rolled yet).
notes-i am running narrow 315's (sumi's), lowered, 11" wide and fenders are not rolled, inside of fender is pretty close, rubs the bumpstop at full drop.
I would love to get 335's or so to fit.
Doug on MOfbody has 335's on the back of his T/A with a 10.5" wheel.
Just some random thoughts that I thought I would share.

I have 315's, GS-DS3 which are wider than most. When I had the stock axle i had rubbing issues. I rolled the fender lips, pounded in the inner fender well, narrowed bumps stops, and an adjustable PHB. On hard cornering I would get rubbing. This was on 1.25" lowering springs.

Yes you can if you have the appropriate offset. It will poke out slightly though. I do not rub at all and I have 9" Eibach ERS springs with a 175 spring rate BUT I have 305 25 20 tires (a little more tire stretch than I'd like to have at the moment but I didn't want to throw out brand new tires for meatier ones).

I also would love to run a 19x12 like this guy....

but then again id settle for a 19x10.
I know for a fact he would still rub.
Rubbing is annoying.
