Default Fun with a 240zx

Had a little fun with a 240sx Friday night. I was going around 40 and he pulled up beside and started "baiting" me. I did a little 10mph jump thinking he would back down. In returned he did a little jump and I heard a large bov. After that I opened the n2o and got ready. Did a 45ish roll. I got to about 110 and was a few cars ahead so I back out. He pulled back up beside me with a confused look. I don't think he looses to a lot of v8 since we're at 5200 elevation.

Nice job! I don't know man, if I was living at that altitude I'd have to put forced induction on my car to make up for the thin air.

Good kill. Mods on the 240? Are we talking a 240sx, mid 90s, or a old 70's 240z?

I thought about it since my home town is 4600'. It really does kill the car, I think if we had a track there, my set up in the summer would be maybe mid 13s. Light bolt on/tune srt4's and turbo hondas can be a challenge back there because of it.

Don't know the mods, didn't get to talk to him. I know it had modified exhuast, a loud bov, and a piller gauges, but that all i could visually see. It was a 90's.

Probably a sr20, they are the most popular it seems. Good kill, especially with that horrible elevation.

Yea, the elevation sucks! Nitrous is the only thing I've got going for me here. Really need to do a h/c swap

Good kill!

The first time I started watching out for those 240's was in 2001, right after I got my first LT1. It was a close race, but he was definitely creeping away from me.
