Yea all stock. Has cai , tune, straight exhaust with borla mufflers. City will be between 16-21 depending how hard I drive it, around 24 on the highway.
With easy driving I can get about 18.4 city and 25-27 highway on 93 octane. But that's with a m6 z28. But same motor. I believe gto's weigh a bit more. But I would say its fairly accurate.

Should be pretty damn accurate.
Figured out by mileage/fuel used (based off injector pulse)

I thought hwy would be 20-21 for an A4.

I just Drove 2000 miles of interstate across the country in my 04 A4 GTO and I got 20-21 mpgs the whole way pretty much on 93 octane

The only way to really tell is to fill up, note miles, drive, fill up again and do the math. Injectors can really botch up the calculations. I'm about 13% off but it doesn't matter. It is what it is.

@ 70-75mph and turning 21-2200 rpms you will see around 21-20 mpg in an A4. Knock it down to 60mph @ 1800-1900 rpms and it jumps up around 24-25mpg.

I normally just figure the mileage to gallons used but it's hard to get the same amount of gas in every fillup in the goat. Certain pumps won't even fill it up all the way!

I'm glad someone else has this problem. Sometimes, I can only fill up to 7/8 tank. It's weird, never had that problem before.

When I checked mine manually it was always within 0.3 MPG of the gauge. I chalked that up to not being able to fill it exactly the same. I would say it is quite accurate.

I had the same issue with my mustang and now with the GTO. You may already know this but you need to do is rotate the pump-handle to about an 80 degrees towards the rear of the car.

Sounds about right. My 04 M6 is gettimg best of 24.5 highway on a 2 hr trip CC set at 70mph
