General Maintenance & Repairs - Pulley Noise

Been about 2 weeks since i have changed my powersteering pump, ever since i have a sqeaky sound coming from my pulley. Ran the car without the belt for a few seconds and no noise, this past weekend i rented the puller for the pulley and pushed the pulley back towards the pump some and that got rid of some noise. But the noise is definitly louder on cold start up.

Anyone experience this

Yes i have the same F'n issue. If you find a fix PLEASE post. I get so pissed when my wife ask " whats that noise". Mine sounds like bearings. I have replaced all idlers, belts, alternator, and the waterpump. so Im down to powersteering or a/c but its from the p/s steering side.

Just curious if the squeeking is less or goes away when you turn on your AC?

This put more of a load on the belt and could head you in the right direction.
