Hey, my 2001 z28 runs 13.0. and thats nice and all but i'm determined to get er running a lower time. I'm starting with the intake manifold and tb, work cam and such in there at once. Is there a recommended site that used for performance parts. Im going with the big mouth 102MM, and I have done so much research on everything, just wondering if all you guys recommend a better place to order from.

Yup, sponsors to the right are top notch, if they weren't they wouldn't be around anymore :)

You must have an A4 Tranny running 13s. Your best option would be a stall converter and a set of gears. Your not going to see any drastic inprovement in 1/4 mile times by changing intakes on a stock motor.

I have a stall, and i have 3 73 rear, I have long tube headers, so Im figuring next in gonna work on heads, cam and the intake manifold and tb.

Your money would be better spent on a stall and a cam... You've already got an LS6 manifold. The money you'd spend on an aftermarket manifold wouldn't net you all that much power.

If you already have a stall, you shouldn't be in the 13s anymore unless you don't have a decent tire to hook up with. I personally wouldn't add more power until you can hook up with what you currently have first. Especially being in south jersey, you should be near Atco which has great DA.

I'd do ls6 intake with pp/tb...just my .02

He already has an ls6 intake, came with the 01-02 fbodies.

I think you should spend your money on suspension and tires. With the mods you have you should be well in the 12's, some people break into the 11's with gears/stall and bolt ons.

the fast manifold can net 25 rwhp over the ls6 and has room to grow/but yes a stall will get u up and going faster.
