Mold Removal Help!

Mold Removal Help! I detailed for several years and never encountered much mold, especially on leather. The 01 WS6 I picked up has a good amount of mold on the leather seats, and elsewhere. I'm going to be shampooing the rugs, and figured just to use a good leather cleaner to get the mold up. But, the more I thought about it the more I do not want to risk any mold exposure. I'm not expert on mold. Will a nice leather cleaner work fine, or should I look at a solution of diluted bleach?

Well I will say this, it depends on what environment the vehicle is stored. I had a issue like that a few years ago with my LT1 car. I live in a low mositure area for the most part but the garage was not finished and not temp controled or even insulated. Basically a shell and I did not check on the car for bout a month and discovered some mold. Not good.
For reference like in Florida, if some people's Central Air stops working mold will QUICKLY grow in houses so it all depends on where you live.
If you have smell issues try Odoban.

Smells great and used for a variety of things, will kill the living organisim. So I like using that in conjunction of a good APC. Problem is mold is in other areas you cant see, and just getting it into a dry environment will be a major help.

Thanks, man. The car sat for 3 years in a garage. Non-climate controlled, barely insulated. It stayed dry, but obviously not dry enough. Lots of work ahead on this one.
