Black billet grille turned grey?
So I bought a black billet grille on eBay looks the exact same as 6le's and is great quality except the part is powder coated black. And Being skimpy on washing the car through out the winter I just thought the grille was really dirty , after a full Sunday of detailing (pics up soon)with m105/m205 I noticed even after washing and trying 105 on the grill it still looks oxicidized and grey? Best option to just sand it , paint it gloss black and clear it?

I understand powdercoating is the way to go, but some of us(like myself) do not have access to a powdercoater. I say sand it really well and get a good paint, primer and clear from your local home center and enjoy making your part look better yourself. Will it hold up as well as powdercoating, probably not, but if you need to touch it up later it's just 4 screws and the same process as before.
Oh and while I like plasti-dip as well, use a gloss black... it will look better than the flat black that plasti-dip gives you.
