torque converter spacers? help
I was under the car today trying to button up a bunch of stuff. One of the things was to put the converter bolts in (I didn't have them when I put the engine/trans in)
I noticed that there is like a 3/8 gap between the flywheel and the converter. The flywheel came with the engine, but the transmission (4L60e) is out of a different car (a 2000 camaro)
I am thinking this gap is too much and I will need some kind of spacers between the converter and flywheel......thoughts?

Sounds like you may need the swap spacer & longer bolts. Before using washers, better check the converter snout fitment into the crank, as that's what the spacer does (besides the spacing). If the converter doesn't seat tightly into the crank, the "wobble" effect will trash the pump in just a few minutes runtime...
