Default -10 feed with -6 return

I am currently building my car with a turbo 4.8 setup. This will not be my last set up in this chassis, it could very well go to 1000whp next time around. With that being said, I have been given a piece of -6 line long enough for a return line. A friend of mine will sell me a piece of -10 very cheap and he has the hose ends I can get too. I don't like building stuff twice and with what I have available will this work? I had planned on possibly reducing the -10 line to -8 with a reducer right before the rail. In theory this would make it a -8 feed but with higher volume right? Planning on running e85 and being in the 700whp right now. Any suggestions are welcome.

Do yourself a favor and go ahead with a -10 return or at least a minimum of -8. A restriction on the return side will cause psi issues.

Running a -10 and splitting it into -8 to feed each rail will be just fine. I actually did my vette that way.

I had considered that but that totally goes against why I would consider the -10 feed. Budget. Will reducing the -10 feed to -8 prior to the rail not effectively make it a -8 feed?

i run a 10 feed with stock feed as return, which is smaller than 6.

its more about your regulator, and fuel pump, how many, what speed, and when they come on

What size is the stock LS feed line anyway?? I figured it was 5/16 or -6. Had some -6 on my last fuel build and it looked like a pretty darn close match.

What will happen if you go to a -6 regulator? Won't that drop be too much
