Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - DoD and supercharger!!! Can it be done?

Basically im wondering if it is possible to take a STOCK motor and throw a
D1SC-H on it. when i say stock i mean stock. no DoD delete, the only thing i want to do is a D1 and the fuel system to support it ( pump and injectors). i will tune it with HPTuners. Will the DoD effect me in anyway?? Ty all in advance, it just seems silly to spend 2-3k on a cam and DoD delete and all that work to get an extra 40whp when i can just bolt on a D1sc kit for 4k and make 5-600wheel

I ran mine that way for 2 years. You won't see 600 without other mods though.

im aiming for 550 whp :)

Why not look for an LS6 cam at least? I hear they work great with forced induction.

On stock dod hardware you can see 500rwhp. Do you plan on headers and an exhaust?

With supporting mods( injectors, bap, headers and exhaust) you could see near 575rwhp or so with 9+lbs of boost.

a good cam kit will give you more than 40hp
example..DOD cam 12.0xx@114mph
.........full bolt on 12.1xx@113mph
.........non DOD cam 11.4x@119-120mph

big difference with the right cam!
