I was just thinking the same thing. That car really does look good. I think Pontiac did a good job on the transition from a Monaro to GTO. And I've said this before...there's no reason why the GTO shouldn't look similar to the Grand Prix or Grand Am or Bonneville or whatever. It's a Pontiac and should look like a Pontiac. Look back to the 60s and 70s. A Tempest/GTO looked similar to a Bonneville or a Grand Prix, just in different sizes/classes.
Look at todays BMWs or Mercedes Benz. All classes look almost identical, just in different sizes, and there's good reason.
Only thing I'd change on the GTO is the wheels. I think they could have done a better job with the factory wheels. I wonder what a set of 17" WS6 wheels would look like on there?
