I had true duals but while moving to florida i had to remove them at a gas station right outside the train station because i needed 4 inch ground clearance to get the car on the train. If i put on lets say an slp loudmouth exhaust will i have to retune it? it has a 383 H/C/I set up. How much different could it make?

No but you may loose a few HP w/ a more restrictive exhaust but nothing you will really notice !

I have long tubes / off road y pipe / loudmouth 1 and it does have a low rumble up until 2600 where it can get very rapy, after that it just screams. I also have a stock 346 so yours might be even louder if thats even possible  Back when I had a catted y pipe there was no rasp at all but it wasnt anywhere near as loud.

If your looking for a low rumble on that setup a magnaflow might sound really good, its a quiet catback though, did you flip the fuel lines etc on your duals?my tsp duals have great ground clearance, its about the same as my ory, the duals are the best exhaust setup period, i would stick with a dual setup go magnaflow bullets and have it ran out the back, that should keep most the noise down and sound killer,

Lol...his exhaust gets rapy, hide ya kids! haha jk

One thing that might interest you, I had TD's with longtubes and went to a ORY/ single bullet dumped setup (moroso spiral flow, whole exhaust is 3" all the way through) and it sounds much better IMO and tucks up quite a bit higher. I made 347whp and 364 ft lbs of torque with the TD's so i figure if I lost a little tq but gained a little hp, i'm ok with that. Car feels like it has the exact same amount of power as it did before the change, and the mustangs seem to agree ;)

It makes more than a rap than a rasp sound if you ask me  The older people think its a bit loud. I took my dad for a ride and he thought it was way too loud but said it sounded mean.

Mine kind of gets on my nerves sometimes. But my tuner is known for tuning rich and when i'm on decel in 3rd gear ( i don't put it in OD around town), every now and then it'll pop a little flame out and that just brings the biggest shit eating grin to my face :D

Although I would like a daily driver for when the camaro gets on my nerves with all the loudness and shakes and rattles.

lol iv been known to blow a few flames as well...so what would i ask of him? Put 3' pipes from the headers to dump out right before my rear and have them face down? how much diff does the bullets make i feel like just straight pipes would not create and special sound or anything really just keep it from losing pressure.
