Hi I just installed hid fogs and low beams and I noticed they stay on even during the day when it's bright out side.. Idk what happened to the daytime running lights :/ so any one advice ? Did I do something wrong ?
The kit I got was xenon something I got it from a member here ..

Take a picture Of how you have it wired. Kits should be pretty straight forward. bulb plugs into ballast , ballast connects to factory bulb connector. You might have something covering your abient light sensor. If u can't get it figured out , just go to radio shack buy a pack of 15 ohm resistors. Right in the parking lot gently pull up your dash right where your defroster grate is there should be your security led, and the light sensor, twist out the sensor then disconnect it. Put the resistor in. Bam you have full control of your Head lights and you get to keep your yellow running lights So Don't worry. I would just do this and not worry about rewriting if they ignite properly .
Hope that helps

You don't need a resistor - a piece of wire will work or a better way is to just crimp a Scotchlock connector across both sensor wires. Shorting the sensor wires together is how the factory disabled automatic headlights on US-model Firebirds. I don't know where the resistor rumor started.
However, installing HID capsules in halogen reflectors is a ghetto mod and I suspect that German authorities will be far less tolerant of the resulting light scatter and glare than US police are.
