Northwest Members - Tubing and BBQ party!! July 14th

I'm doing a tubing trip down the santiam river in Jefferson, then a BBQ at my place afterwards.
It will be a 3hr or so float. If any of you want to go you're more then welcome.
You'll need a tube, cooler and a small tube to put around the cooler so it doesn't sink. I'll supply the food for the BBQ it'll be chicken, hotdogs, an hamburgers.
We will meet at my place at 11am an then be in the river around 12.
Hope to see some of you there.
Also I'll have a party sooner then that so I can kick Todd's ass at horse shoes..lol

What's the river like is it pretty tame or are there rapids?

There's some good rapids, not to bad. It's good tubin waters.

Go to les Schwabs or any tire center and they should have one. I anything I got mine at Walmart one year, but it was a while ago.

So here's an update. If its going to be only 70 degrees we will probably not go tubing, but the party will still be on and will start at noon.

Looks like it's supposed to be 90 saturday. Wear your shades. I'm pretty white, for now. ;)

Shit I wish I could make it, but I can't. Daughter has been sick for the past few days so I'm staying in with her this weekend. You guys have fun. I will beat you at horseshoes again another time!
