Anyone going to race? I know a few are going to watch. I am trying to get a bunch of stuff done around the house so I can justify racing for the day haha.
It is 11.5 10.5 9.5 and 8.5 index racing for anyone who hasn't heard of the class up there before.

Do you have a link to the 8.50 rules? I want to compare them to the Cecil, atco and etown rules, see if my junk would fit the rules up there as well as the other tracks

They are fairly lenient in enforcing the rules from what I have seen the past few years.
I am going to try and make it to NED, not for a run but to watch. Working tomorrow, so we will see if I get out in time.

I laugh stthe stock radiator support and glass, how does one keep the stock glass when the cowl has a dog box making the engine bay a foot deeper? They actually check for any of that, or what? I would have thought they would have adopted the same rules for 8.50 index that all the other area nhra tracks use. When I finish the car I guess I will take a trip up and see if anyone says anything, but there's no way the factory glass, or anything remotely resembling the stock radiator support will be left

I have never seen them check, it is really run pretty lax. I'll try to dig up some pictures of the 8.50 cars that run. Does your car fit x275 rules too?

i was there friday and sat. got a new best friday night with junk yard dawg. went 9.34 with a 1.26 60 foot.
i was happy.
jl, your car will fit in no problem. the guys in these classes dont care, its laid back for sure only thing you get right now is a photo, sticker and trophy do to loss of sponsorship. some times the guys will put together a purse, throw in 20 bucks a head and winner takes all. but thats about it. its more for fun. sat i was #1 qual in 9.50 class with a 9.52 but then got bumped with a 9.48 first round. doh
