should also look into the autotrix mod or build your own autotrix mod since its pretty much 2 relays and some wires.

oh yeahs heres a good write up that i learned off of.

What does this mod do?

Um when GM designed the stoopid window motor setup on these cars they take power for the passenger window off the drivers side which is why these motors burn out so much. So basically the autotrix kit makes your passenger window get its own power off the battery instead of the drivers side.

gees guys it takes like 20 minutes to do. ive done like 6-7 members window motors not including the many i have done myself. get an autozone one so if it goes out again its covered under warranty and you can get another one.

You should be able to do it with little to no problems. I did mine like 6 months ago for the first time and it went pretty smooth. Just take your time with the door panel when taking it off. goodluck!

The new motors normally come with nuts and bolts, so you dont have to use Rivets.

I prefer the rivets. Doesn't the nuts get loose?

humm procrastination I know it well.. i think i had mine for 3 to 6 months before installing :P

but like every 1 sed it's not that bad of a job.
for me, removing the pop rivets, wear most of the pane.
i weld the nuts to the reg so i don't have to mes with trying to tape em & it will make the next replacement go way quicker! :)

But all the same If you or any one else needs help getting this done & Palm Desert is not to far away hit me up.
